Early Life of CR7:
It was 5th Feb., 1985, time for the birth of a new icon in Portugal. Those Dinis Aveiro and Maria Dolores dos Santos Aveiro are blessed with a baby boy, was Cristiano Ronaldo. Dinis Aveiro a municipal gardener and a part-time kit man. Cristiano is youngest among siblings with one elder brother and two elder sisters. He grew up in a Catholic and impoverished home in Sao Pedro, Funchal, Portugal. His family is too poor in his early life. Since his childhood he is very fond of playing soccer’s. Financial condition of his family is not good but he didn’t give up pursuing his dreams. As a child, he play for amateur team Andorinha from 1992 to 1995, and later spent two years with Nacional. Difficulties which he faced:
He tried to convinced his mother to drop him from education order to focus completely on football; he was then only 14 years old. One year later he was diagnosed with a racing heart (Tachycardia). That condition could have forced him to give up playing football. He underwent heart surgery where a laser was used to cauterize multiple cardiac pathways, attiring his resting heart rate. He resumed training a few days later. His father died as a result of alcoholism. This incident left a profound mark in his life and swore not to touch alcohol ever. His mother was compelled to work as a cook to run the family. Oblivious to the hardship he continued with the game of soccer’s and dreamed to the best.
Career of Cristiano Ronaldo:
He played his first match for Lisbon against the Manchester united, at age 17 and his team defeated his rival. Mesmerized by his ability Manchester united initially borrowed him for a year with an amount of £12.24 million and he played for this club 196 matches and 84 goals denying his stint there from age 2003-May 2009. He joined Real Madrid in lieu of a record transfer fee of £80 million. His contract was covered up to 2018 with an annual fee of 11 million dollar and buyout clause amounting 1 billion dollar. He scored a record 17 goals during the 2013-14 La Decima campaigned a personal best of 61 goals in all competitions during the 2014-15season. By March 2016, he had scored 252 goals in 228 matches in La Liga to become the second highest scorer.
After a Week of transfer speculation, on 10th July, 2018, he signed a four year contract with Italian club Juventus after completing a 100 million dollars transfer, plus solidarity contribution to his youth clubs and an additional 12 million dollar in other fees. Now he plays as a forward for Italian club Juventus and the Portugal National team. He has faced a record of winning five Ballond’or awards, the most for European shoes. He has won 26 trophies in his career, including five league titles, five UEFA Champions League titles and one UEFA European Championship. Ronaldo played for hosts Portugal in The inaugural nation’s league final in June 2019. Upon netting the match’s opening goal, he became the first player to score in 10 consecutive international competitions, breaking the record of nine he previously shared with Ghana’s Asamoah Gyan.

On 10 September, Ronaldo scored four goals in a 5–1 away win over Lithuania in a EURO 2020 Qualifying match; in the process, he overtook Robbie Keane (23 goals) as the player with most goals in the UEFA European Championship Qualifiers, setting a new record with 25 goals. On that occasion, Ronaldo also set a new record as the player who scored against the most national teams, 40, while also completing his eighth international hat-trick, he scored his 700th senior career goal for club and country from the penalty spot, in his 974th senior career appearance, a 2–1 away loss to Ukraine in a Euro 2020 qualifier and in this same year Ronaldo scored his 99th international goal in a 2–0 win over Luxembourg, leading Portugal qualify for EURO 2020.
Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo rivalry:
The Messi–Ronaldo rivalry is a rivalry between fans of Argentinean forward Lionel Messi (LM10) and Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo (CR7) and supposedly between the athletes themselves. Having won a combined 11 Ballon d’Or/FIFA Ballon d’Or awards (six for Messi and five for Ronaldo), both are widely regarded not only as the two best players of their generation, but also, by many in the sport, including players, writers and fans, as two of the greatest of all time. In a 2015 interview, Ronaldo commented on the rivalry by saying that
“I think we push each other sometimes in the competition, this is why the competition is so high”.
Messi has also denied any rivalry, and blames the media for creating it:
“Only the media, the press, who wants us to be at loggerheads but I’ve never fought with Cristiano”.

Personal Life of Cristiano Ronaldo:
Ronaldo has four children. He first became a father to a son, Cristiano Jr., born on 17 June 2010 via surrogacy. In January 2015, Ronaldo announced his five-year relationship with Russian model Irina Shyak had ended. Ronaldo then became father to twins, daughter Eva and son Mateo, born on 8 June 2017 in the United States via surrogacy. He is in a relationship with Spanish model Georgina Rodriguez, who gave birth to their daughter Alana Martina, on 12 November 2017. His mother, Dolores, was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2007 but she was recovered.

What are his activities Outside Football?
Outside the field Cristiano Ronaldo has valued humanity as his biggest asset. In 2015, he dressed up as a homeless guy to surprise kids on the streets of Madrid. As he donated blood every year he had refrained himself from making any tattoo on his body. Ronaldo contributed £5 million as aid for relief work of Nepal after the 2015’s earthquake. In 2019, Ronaldo was requested by the parents of 10 months old Erik Ortiz Cruz to donate a pair of boots and a jersey for an auction to raise funds for brain surgery of the child. He not only offered those two items but paid the whole amount for surgery.
In spite of his busy schedule he always takes time out to meet the under-privileged and differently able persons, especially children. He also visits hospitals regularly, donates frequently to different charities and he has paid for the medical bills for terminally-ill children. Cristiano deserves profound respect from us and he has got a wonderful heart of Gold. He is not only a man of topper sportsmanship, such also a topper human being with a golden heart, which feels deeply for every person in need. He might have won a number of golden boots but the humanity he had emerged as a man of golden heart.
