This phone comes with a 6.67-inch FHD+ touchscreen Dot-display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and aspect ratio of 20:9. It is powered by Snapdragon 720G Processor with Adreno A618 GPU. It has a glass body with a Side fingerprint sensor assemble to the power button. It has a 5020mAh battery which is charged by 33W fast charger. Wired charging is supported over USB Type-C and 3.5mm headphone jack is attached to it.

Redmi Note 9 Pro Max is powered by 1.8 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor that features 2 cores clocked at 2.3GHz and 6 cores clocked at 1.8GHz. It runs MIUI 11 based on Android 10 with 6GB and 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 64GB and 128GB internal storage with up to 512GB of expansion via Micro-SD card.

As far as Red mi Note 9 Pro Max has quad camera setup. The main camera is 64-megapixel with an aperture of f/1.89, a pixel size of 1.6-micron and a CMOS image sensor. 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, 109 degree wide with an aperture of f/2.2 and pixel size is 1.12-micron. Next is a 5-megapixel Macro camera up to 2cm focus and 1.12-micron pixel size. And the fourth one is a 2-megapixel depth camera with 1.75-micron pixel size. It has auto-focus and also it can zoom up to 10x digital zoom. It can record 4K videos at 30fps. It also can shoot ultra-wide in 1080p and 720p at 30fps. Slow-motion cab be recorded in 1080p at 120fps and 720p at 960fps/240fpps/120fps.
In the front, there is a 32-megapixel camera with a 1.6-micron aperture. It is assembled with Artificial Intelligent. It can shoot 1080p and 720p video and also Slow-motion at 120fps by the front camera.
