Samsung Galaxy A31 smartphone is the chipper version of Samsung Galaxy A51 and A71 containing with almost the same features except for some major changes like Processor, display, camera and battery. It is a mid-range product from Samsung A series.

A31 is powered by a 2GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P65 processor. It comes with 4GB and 6GB of RAM with 64 GB and 128 GB of internal storage. The storage can be expanded up to 512 GB via Micro SD card. The Samsung Galaxy A31 runs on One UI 2.0 based on Android 10. The Samsung Galaxy A31 provides quad-camera set-up with 48+8+5+5 MP and a 20 MP front camera for selfies. It has 5000mAh non-removable battery supporting with a fast charger. A31 implements high-tech biometric authentication i.e. On-Screen Fingerprint scanner. It recognizes fingerprint uniquely to unlock in an easy move by the user only. Samsung Knox protects phone by offering multi-layered security. It defends the most sensitive information from malware and malicious threats.

The hardware of Samsung Galaxy A31:
The Samsung Galaxy A31 has launched internationally with MediaTek Helio P65 chipset, while in India it is not launched yet. MediaTek Helio P65 is an Octa-core processor containing 2 Cortex A75 operating at a clock speed of 2GHz and 6 Cortex A55 operating at a clock speed of 1.7 GHz. A31 has 1080p Super AMOLED 6.4-inch infinity-U display with a wider 20:9 aspect ratio. The base variant contains 4GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage with up to 512 GB of expansion via the micro-SD card slot. It comes with another variant that is 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. In-display fingerprint facility is there for unlock and face unlock is also present. The A31 contain 5000 mAh battery that supports up to 15W fast charging using a USB Type-C cable.
Samsung Galaxy A31 has quad-camera set-up where the main camera is 48 MP with an aperture of f/2.0 for crisp clear photos in the day as well as night. The second one is 123-degree ultra-wide-angle camera of 8 MP with an aperture of f/2.2, another 5MP Macro camera (40mm), with an aperture of f/2.4, used to shoot with clarity and quality. It helps to bring out the ultra-fine details in close-up shots. It also implements natural background blur (Bokeh) to isolate the subject from the surroundings. And the last one is also a 5 MP Depth Camera, with an aperture of f/2.4, helps to adjust the depth of field before and after nailing the shot. It reduces unwanted background noise from images to make it more professional.
In the front Galaxy A31 provides 20MP camera with an aperture of f/2.2. It gives clear and high-resolution photos. It also supports live focus for making the background blur to spot the face like the star.

It can record up to 1080p video, 4K recording is not supported on A31 comparing with A51 and A71. A31 is quite heavier compared to A51 and A71 as it provides a 5000mAh battery. For a light user, it can run for one and half a day or two days. For a heavy user, it may run for a whole day. With 15W Type-C fast charger, A31 charged quickly. It also provides a 3.5 mm headphone jack which is very good.
