India’s Most Wanted is an Indian Hindi-language Action Thriller film of 2019. It is directed by Raj Kumar Gupta and starring Arjun Kapoor. The film is all about tracking and arresting a terrorist in a secret mission without firing bullets. This movie is inspired by the arrest of the terrorist organization Indian Mujahideen terrorist Yasin Bhatkal also referred to Osama Bin Laden. The movie was released in theatre in India on 24th May 2019.
Story of India’s Most Wanted:
Even though no names have been taken either in the film or the trailer, the film is based on True Story of Catching Yasin Bhatkal, India’s most wanted terrorist who’s currently serving prison time in New Delhi’s Tihar jail. Dubbed as India’s Osama bin Laden, Yasin Bhatkal is accused of carrying out 52 blasts in the country. In the film, Arjun Kapoor and a team of five officers captured Bhatkal, one of India’s most dangerous terrorists, without firing a single bullet or causing any civil unrest. Kapoor played the role of a character named as Prabhat Kapoor, an Intelligence Bureau officer who led the mission to catch Bhatkal. According to Mumbai Mirror, the Intelligence Bureau had dubbed Bhatkal the “Ghost Who Bombs“.
